DAY 2 || ONE-EIGTH STAGE

 


Day two of the one-eigth stage featured, Prempeh College vs St. Thomas Aquinas vs Ofori Panin S.H.S, St. Peters S.H.S vs St. James Sem. S.H.S vs Drobo S.H.S and KNUST S.H.S vs Kumasi High School and Krobo Girls' S.H.S in the Saarah-Mensah Auditorium.  

Ghana S.H.S, Koforidua vs Sakafia Islamic S.H.S vs Wesley S.H.S, Bekwai. Konongo-Odumase S.H.S vs St. Mary's S.H.S, Accra vs Kumasi Sec, Tech. School and Oda S.H.S vs Apam S.H.S vs St Francis Xavier Jr Sem contested in the Kumapley auditorium. 

At the end of the first contest hosted in the Saarah-Mensah auditorium, Prempeh College floored her opponents, St. Thomas Aquinas and Ofori Panin S.H.S. PC won this contest with 46 points with her opponents scoring 40 and 25 points respectively.  Floreat! The Amanfuor qualifies to the quarter finals. 



Is Prempeh back to defend the trophy? Or will there be a new winner?

Ghana S.H.S Koforidua locked horns with  Sakafia Islamic S.H.S and Wesley S.H.S, Berkwai in the Kumapley auditorium for the first contest. Ghanass won this contest with 31 points. She makes it to the quarter finals. Sakafia and Wesley are sent back to regional qualifiers. Pro Patria!

St. James Sem did St. Peters and Drobo S.H.S dirty in their contest. St. James sends St. Peters and Drobo SHS back to regional by winning the contest with 49 points while her opponents Persco had 45 and Drobo had 8 points. This was the second contest of the day in the Saarah-Mensah auditorium. 

Kumasi Sec, Tech sends Konongo-Odumase and St. Mary's Girls, Accra back home as she won her contest with 22 points. Kumasi Sec Tech becomes a seeded school with just 22 points. Her rivals had 17 points each. 



The last contest of the day in the Saarah-Mensah auditorium had KNUST S.H.S and Krobo Girls High School back to prelims as Kumasi High School won the contest with 48 points. Krobo Girls had 24 and KNUST had 41 points. Kumasi High School takes KNUST S.H.S's place as a seeded school.

St. Francis Xavier Jnr won the last contest in Kumapley auditorium with 38 points. Her competitors, Oda S.H.S and Apam S.H.S had 31 and 35 points respectively. St Francis Xavier makes it to the quarter finals.
